What is Catholic Charities?

Catholic Charities of Herkimer County is one of our area's largest, private, non-profit social service providers.  We are an independant 510(c)3 organization dedicated to helping the poor and vulnerable throughout Herkimer County. With the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers, we are Responding to Those in Crisis, Providing Basic Needs, and Supporting and Protecting the Vulnerable.  Through our inter-connected programs, more than 81,000 different people are helped each year through all 14 counties and we are Strengthening Families and Communities and Empowering Individuals.

Who Can Receive Help From Catholic Charities?

Catholic Charities offers help and services to all people living in the Herkimer County, regardless of race, religion, ethnicty, or gender.  Many services are based on where you live, so please visit our Services and Programs page and select your county to see what services are offered in your area.
